AGA GAS
CCSI designed, constructed and installed a
"stand-alone" cold box unit for AGA Gases
to produce 80 T/D of liquid oxygen by
condensing gaseous oxygen with liquid
nitrogen. The unit, installed at Parkersburg,
West Virginia in 1996, included local
automatic controllers which also connected
to a main panel control station, as well
as interconnecting piping (vacuum jacketed
piping for liquid lines). The cold box unit was
elevated to avoid the requirement of a LOX
pump to get the product into the LOX storage
tank.
