CCSI provided services for reversing heat exchanger replacement both in a 200 T/D and a 400 T/D plant at Mingo Junction, Ohio, but on a design and project management basis. 32 existing warm and cold reversing exchangers were replaced with six large reversing exchangers, resulting in a considerable savings in cost of replacement heat exchangers. This project included a study and detailed design for upgrading the 200 T/D plant to a 300 T/D oxygen capacity, review and modifications to argon purification system, compressors and expanders.
